How Osama really got killed...

Ok, I'm taking a break from my finals studying to post this. This is a very top-secret file, and I need you to treat it with the urgency it deserves.

Another freelancer? Oh, God...

As if the world hasn't had enough of these already, eh? Well, before you bust out the tar-and-feather and prepare to go medieval on my behind, I'll say that yes, I am a new freelance writer trying to get the gist of things by dipping my feet into the shark-infested-Steven-Spielber-style-fictionalized water. While my inexperience will gladly - and quite loudly - speak for myself, I hope to gather enough know-how to hopefully monetize on what I love most: writing and presenting a story.

I've never been one of those people with remarcable talent in an art and I was never truly handy with anything in particular, be it glue or a hammer, which has stricken my otherwise technically-oriented family as an oddity. Looking back, my one and only saving trait was that I am boundlessly curious and easily enticed into creating elaborate tapestries out of words. This has led me to become a sort of Jack-of-all-trades, as my knowledge of what surrounds me becomes greater with each passing day, book or article, and with every word I read, my world expands. Daydreaming is soothing, writing and reading is bliss, but knowing more about the world, how it works and what it can do for you is functional and pragmatical. I'm an in-betweener in regards to that. I love it when the causal connexions between a simple figment of imagination and its pen-and-paper version collide to form a beautiful story.

But having no fixed hobby or obsession has its own merits and downfalls. I have a vast range of interests, as I've previously mentioned, and that will reflect in the overall content of this blog. I can write on hundreds of topics, from cooking to history and internet culture. For this reason, I have no niche and no fixed topics, and I hope that won't scare you, but hopefully endear you to my ever-distracted, ever-inquisitive and diversity-loving ways. If you stay, thank you. Sincerely.

I'm on a journey to learn, hopefully from others, to expand my horizons and in the end become either a better person, or a highly skilled one.
